Exercise: Reading arrows

Read the following CG in at least two ways, alternating between the four ways of reading arrows. Remember that there are two things that determine how we read an arrow:

  1. Whether we are reading in the direction of the arrow or against it, and
  2. Whether the arrow points towards or away from the relation.
  [Rhino: Otto]->(Chrc)->[Color: Orange]

The Chrc relation is the relation called "characteristic".
